POSITION OVERVIEW
The Corporate IT Infrastructure Department is seeking an experienced and results oriented Hardware Asset & Inventory Manager who will lead the maturation of numerous IT Hardware management and data reporting function. Reporting to the Program Manager for Corporate IT Asset Management at FNF, this role will provide technical and process leadership for internal and external clients. Overall, this resource will help enable the business through improving IT Asset inventory technologies and processes.
LOCATION
This position is hybrid based out of our Jacksonville, FL office.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Overall:
Serve as experienced, knowledgeable, practitioner, to serve as a point of contact for FNF's hardware inventory and asset management practices.
Assist in the management of the Technical Services inventory as represented in ServiceNow, including education, intake, data governance, and record decommission.
Improve on the current HAM governance reporting programs. And, working with applicable IT managers on actioning reporting.
Serve as a centralized point for the governance, risk, and compliance groups to secure information regarding FNF's hardware inventory and asset management practices.
Detail:
  • Implement and maintain HAM capabilities such as asset lifecycle management, procurement, inventory, refresh, and disposal processes, using both ServiceNow-supported processes and others.
  • Develop and enhance Service Portal components for self-service asset requests, tracking, and reporting.
  • Work on data integrity and accuracy within the CMDB for all hardware assets, including CI relationships and attributes, including through CMDB, HAM, and DPM Health Dashboards.
  • Enable governance structure that allows the Technical Services inventory to serve multiple departments and resource needs including those from Compliance, Information Security, Risk Management, Legal (not limiting to ITAM use cases).
  • Lead ITAM's participation in the implementation and maintenance of integrations between ServiceNow HAM and external systems, inventory management systems and discovery tools.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including business, technical, and GRC to understand requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and improve existing hardware asset management processes.
  • Identify opportunities for automation within the HAM lifecycle to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical and process documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and strategic direction guidance.

Other:
  • Manage and mentor a small team directly.
  • Act as a hands-on working manager.
  • Working closely with IT Finance and Licensing in controlling service budget.
  • Continual contract review and updates as service requirements change & mature.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
  • Willingness to travel if required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of job-related experience required.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
  • IT project management experience in planning and implementing enterprise level systems.
  • Experience in technology product management.
  • Experience with data analysis using Power BI, Excel Pivot Tables, or other similar tools.
  • Overall: Demonstrated experience with assisting with the management of a F500's enterprise hardware asset and inventory program in ServiceNow.
  • IT Operations:
  • Possesses current technical knowledge of IT hardware and software including but not limited to servers, desktops, laptops, mobile devices, network devices, storage devices, software licensing basics, enterprise applications, virtual devices, services and components.
  • 5+ years' experience in modern IT infrastructure support and maintenance, including an understanding of how an IT Operations group delivers services and supports the company.
  • ServiceNow Digital Portfolio Management. 5+ years' experience in working within the technology portfolio management offerings from ServiceNow.
  • Communication and Management:
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
  • Prior team leadership experience.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as ITIL, ServiceNow DF (CMDB and CSDM), ServiceNow CSA, and ServiceNow CIS-HAM
