Demand Planning Coordinator, Liquids

Employment Status: Full-Time, Salaried/Exempt

Location: Waukegan, IL

Schedule: Onsite daily Monday through Friday from 8 am – 5 pm CT.

Salary: $85,000 - $115,000

Position Overview

The Demand Planning Coordinator, Liquids will support demand planning execution by coordinating forecast completion, managing planning lock workflows, maintaining forward visibility into campaigns and priorities, monitoring production order activity, and developing planning reports that improve decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

·      Coordinate with demand planners to ensure demand forecasts are completed accurately and on schedule.

·      Manage approval workflows and communications for items within the 4-week planning lock period.

·      Maintain a rolling 6-week outlook of campaigns, priorities, risks, and planning needs.

·      Support planners with day-to-day planning questions, issue resolution, and prioritization.

·      Monitor out-of-resource items, production order entry, and key planning dates to ensure compliance with planning standards.

·      Track production order execution and escalate potential risks or delays in advance.

·      Support high-priority planning initiatives, including customer campaigns and business-critical programs.

·      Develop, maintain, and analyze demand planning reports, including forecast accuracy, actual sales versus forecast, trend analysis, and risk reporting.

·      Create and maintain customer-specific SOPs and support planning process standardization and documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

·      Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

·      3–5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain coordination, planning support, buying, or a related role preferred.

·      Experience supporting forecast processes, campaign planning, or demand planning execution in a manufacturing, CPG, or distribution environment.

·      Strong understanding of shortage reports, purchase orders, MRP systems, logistics operations, inventory control, procurement workflows, and supply chain coordination.

·      Intermediate to advanced Excel and ERP/database skills.

·      Ability to manage multiple changing priorities, work under pressure, identify risks, and present meaningful data-driven recommendations.

·      Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly to stakeholders.

Physical Requirements

·      Ability to use a computer extensively in an office environment.

·      Ability to sit for extended periods and move throughout an office or production environment as needed.

·      Ability to work in a setting with normal office noise and occasional exposure to a louder production floor.

·      Ability to read documents, view a computer screen for extended periods, and identify details or hazards.
