What to Expect

The Global Inventory Analyst supports the company's inventory reduction and performance improvement agenda by driving the adoption and continuous enhancement of advanced analytics tools across divisions.

As Product Owner for inventory analytics tools (including the entitlement model and performance dashboards), this role partners with Global Inventory Process Owners and divisional teams to capture operational requirements, translate them into actionable insights and tool improvements, and ensure alignment between execution, analytics capabilities, and global inventory standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Global Inventory Analytics Product Ownership

  • Act as the business product owner for the Global Inventory entitlement model and Global Inventory performance dashboards.
  • Translate business needs into functional requirements for IT and external partners, where applicable.
  • Prioritize enhancements and manage the development backlog.
  • Validate outputs and ensure data integrity and consistency.
  • Ensure tools are aligned with inventory reduction targets.

2. Deployment & Adoption

  • Lead the rollout and adoption of inventory dashboards across divisions.
  • Train stakeholders (Planning, Operations, Finance) on tool usage, KPI definitions, and insight interpretation (e.g., entitlement gaps, excess and obsolete inventory, Days of Supply (DOS), and inventory turns).
  • Develop user documentation and training materials.
  • Act as the first point of contact for user support and inquiries.

3. Inventory Performance Management

  • Enable a fact-based inventory governance process using dashboards.
  • Support regular management reviews by:
    • Providing performance insights against targets.
    • Conducting root-cause analyses.
    • Identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Track and monitor KPIs, including:
    • Inventory Turns
    • Days of Supply (DOS)
    • Inventory Health
    • Entitlement Gap

What We Expect

Qualifications & Skills

Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, or advanced analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with advanced analytics tool development and/or product ownership.
  • Experience in planning, S&OP/IBP, or supply chain performance management preferred.
  • Exposure to transformation or performance improvement programs is a plus.

Technical Skills

  • Strong experience with Power BI or similar analytics tools.
  • Solid understanding of:
    • Inventory concepts (safety stock, DOS, inventory turns, excess and obsolete inventory, entitlement).
    • Supply chain planning processes.
  • Experience working with large datasets and performing data validation.

Core Competencies

  • Analytical and structured thinking.
  • Strong communication and translation skills, with the ability to bridge technical tools and business users.
  • Ownership mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

The annualized base salary range for this salaried role is $63,600 to $99,500 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will depend on factors including relevant experience, skills, knowledge, geographic location, education, business needs, and market demand.
