Job Summary

Are you a detail-oriented person who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is organized? In this role you will coordinate the flow, inventory levels, replenishment, and allocation of manufactured and purchased materials required to build our products. We're looking for a dependable team player to support our processes for customers across the globe.

What You'll Do

1. Organize and manage manufacturing and/or purchased parts inventory according to standard work, or in a logical and orderly manner.

2. Responsible for inventory replenishment activities and the coordination of inventory level adjustments based on production schedules. Work with supply chain and area managers to maintain appropriate inventory levels.

3. Organize and deliver part kits from machine shops, supermarkets, or central receiving to internal and external customers according to standard work or referenced in the bill of materials.

4. Key transactions into the computer as material is issued using Glovia, or follow standard work for order processes where appropriate.

5. Ensure accuracy of all transactions including back orders through examining purchase orders and investigating all aspects of the order to discover any discrepancies, missing or excess items, or any other issues that arise through the examination of the transaction.

6. Follow Engineering Change Notification (ECN) process on the production floor, and associated scrap levels.

7. Coordinate with outside suppliers for completion of outsourcing processes such as heat treat and zinc plating.

8. Support 5S/workplace organizational goals of the department, offer suggestions and make improvements that achieve the department's performance board metrics.

9. Mentor and help train new team members to ensure their performance meets expectations.

What We're Looking For

- Minimum of one year related experience or six months of Vermeer material handling/order fullfillment experience.

- Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience and/or Glovia experience/training preferred.

- Successful completion of Vermeer forklift certification as required for the work location.

- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to respond to questions from managers and suppliers.

- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, CAD and other business software.

- Ability To manage multiple tasks simultaneously while assessing, evaluating, and taking appropriate action in a dynamic work environment.

- Ability to apply problem-solving techniques and perform root cause analysis

-Ability to calculate and apply concepts of fractions, percentages, and ratios.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
