YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

You'll join us in the mornings from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with some overtime as needed. Travel is required.

In collaboration with internal teams and sales representatives, you'll help make sure customers receive their orders on time and that our inventory is full of all the products we need. This fast-paced role will keep you engaged as you provide exceptional customer service, help with inventory management, and ensure we're always there to fulfill customers' needs. Positivity and professionalism will be key. You'll diligently monitor customers' stock, analyze data to predict inventory needs, and proactively generate replenishment orders to ensure timely deliveries.

Data analysis is a key part of the position, and you'll review annual inventory reports with customer contacts to provide exceptional support and service. You'll strategically forecast inventory needs, identify potential problems or supply chain issues, and take proactive steps to maintain seamless operations. You'll regularly communicate with customer contacts and branch managers to maintain adequate stock levels, providing on-site support as needed. This is also a hands-on role, and you'll help with product receiving, shelving, pulling, and delivering in addition to general warehouse responsibilities. Motivated to grow, you'll help sales teams execute strategies for driving revenue, expanding products, and creating new solutions. We'll provide you with comprehensive training to help you thrive, and you can cross-train in other areas if desired!

VENDOR MANAGED INVENTORY SPECIALIST - DRIVER CRITERIA:

  • 21+ years of age
  • 2+ years of experience driving in all weather conditions
  • Ability to drive to customer locations (up to 1.5 hours one-way)
  • Valid driver's license (Class D Non-CDL), a clean driving record, and the ability to drive a van or box truck
  • DOT medical card or the ability to obtain one
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. following proper lifting techniques
  • Ability to wear required PPE, stand/sit for extended periods, and work in various environments (office, manufacturing, retail, laboratory, etc.)
  • Basic math skills and proficiency with tape measures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, the ability to type 25+ wpm, and experience using an ERP (preferably Epicor)
  • (PREFERRED) - Familiarity with logistics and/or supply chain
  • (PREFERRED) - Working knowledge of hydraulic systems and components
