Inventory Fleet Manager Assistant Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Responsible for theday-to-day operations of thevehicle fleet program, which may include the acquisition, assignment,maintenanceand inventory of the vehicles. Establishesandmaintainsstrongpartnershipwith internal business units and externalvendors.

• Ensures accurate record of vehicle inventory, drivers and insurance. Updates, maintains and audits fleet tracking system.
• Partners with business units to plan for and coordinate vehicle assignments. Supports the orientation of drivers and communication of safety and maintenance policy.
• Administers lease management. Plans and coordinates vehicle assignments based on demand and availability.
• Supports insurance administration, including acting as liaison between insurance companies and employees. Ensures proper reporting of incident/accident and/or damages.
• Ensures compliance to all company policies and procedures, as well as State and Federal regulations.
• Builds strong working relationships with vendors and service providers. Negotiates expedited dates and prices, manages invoice discrepancies and adherence to contracts.
• Processes, tracks, reports and audits fleet expenses.
• Plans, develops and executes vehicle replacement schedules while overseeing repairs and maintenance operations.
• Conducts research and analysis including budget, cost management, replacement schedules and compliance reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent training and experience
• 5years ofrelevant experience
• Strongverbaland writtencommunication skills
• Ability to multi-task between a variety of job responsibilities
• Proficientknowledge ofMS Officeapplications
• Excellent procurement and negotiation skills
• Basic understanding of budgeting and accounting
