Job description

nventory Control team member will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy throughout the Fulfillment Center (FC). Team member will perform daily counting and auditing of inventory and assist other teams within the FC to uphold proper inventory count and locations.

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Daily cycle count and recounts of inventory per system requirements

Maintain and assist inventory consolidation with Put Away Team

Monitor inventory location and identification throughout the shelving area

Track and report non-conforming items

Resolve inventory discrepancies

Inspect FC daily for correct inventory carton placement and location

Daily monitoring and return of misplaced products to proper locations

Adhere to set standards of the Employee Handbook Policies and Procedures manual

Computer data entry of cycle counts, moves and additions

Maintains necessary files and documentation

Other special projects as assigned, cross trained in other FC tasks as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

Typically requires a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 2-4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Basic reading, writing and math skills

Long periods of standing and being on your feet required

Must be able to consistently lift 50lbs. safely and properly as part of the job function

Must be computer literate

Must submit to a criminal background check and drug test

Must be detailed and team oriented

Prior experience in retail/ecommerce with focus on receiving, stockroom activities and inventory control preferred but not required.

Must work day shift hours of (7:00am 3:30pm) Monday through Friday.
