Job description

The purpose of the Inventory Control Associate position is to service all aspects associated with the daily functional inventory control in the distribution center or warehouse; including moves, cycle counts, helping both inbound and outbound associates, processing damages and all discrepancy reconciliation.  

Responsibilities

  • Perform Cycle Counts
  • Process Damages
  • Report all Inbound Discrepancies to the Inventory Control Supervisor or Manager 
  • Assist Operators with Any and All Discrepancies and System Issues
  • Prepare for and Assist with Annual Physical Inventory

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of or ability to learnSAP 
  • Knowledge or ability to learn HighJump Warehouse Advantage system and/or customer operating systems 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and 365) 
  • Basic computer skills 
  • Ability tohandle reoccurring problems 
  • Basic math skills  
  • Ability to multi-task. 
  • Ability to perform work in a highly detailed and color-coded manner

  • Prior RF Unit experience, a plus
