Position: Inventory Control Clerk
Location: Palmetto, GA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay: Up to $19.00/hr (DOE)

Job Summary
We are hiring an Inventory Control Clerk for a client in the Palmetto, GA area. This role works closely with the Inventory Control team and Operations staff to maintain high inventory accuracy through control points, audits, reporting, and transaction tracing. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable in an automated warehouse environment, and skilled with inventory reporting systems. Immediate start available.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile cycle count results and resolve DC mismatches, researching root causes to prevent recurrence

  • Perform all inventory-related data file maintenance

  • Ensure all inventory reports are current and in balance

  • Maintain WMS stock locator map

  • Process all inventory adjustments other than "on-the-fly"adjustments

  • Publish reports and statistics on inventory accuracy performance against standard

  • Assist with space utilization optimization between pallet and case storage areas by initiating consolidation reports and system parameter changes

  • Work in a constant state of alertness

Must Haves

  • 3–5 years of experience with inventory-related systems, reports, and procedures in an automated environment

  • High school diploma

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel)

  • Strong math skills

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management System) tools
