Compensation:  Salary starting at $60,000 Anual Pay, plus eligible benefits, in accordance with experience and internal equity

SUMMARY

Inventory Control Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy through robust cycle count processes, continuous training of users and transaction audits. The Inventory Control Supervisor will be the primary customer contact for all inventory related enquiries and has the potential to grow in responsibility as the position evolves.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reviews and implements all company inventory control strategies and policies to ensure consistent application across the site
  • Ensures all inventory cycle counting and physical inventories are being coordinated as defined by the customer
  • Responsible for sending daily / weekly / monthly reports and other communications to various clients
  • Responsible for training Team Leads and Associates on inventory management and cycle counting processes
  • Ensures that all inventory transactions and stock status reports are completed on a timely basis
  • Develop and implement methods to maintain accurate inventory levels at the facility
  • Recognizes and takes steps to resolve inventory issues to minimize the impact on operations
  • Research inventory discrepancies and provide root cause analysis
  • Recommend process improvements needing adjustment identified through root cause analysis.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by verifying that all transactions are correctly documented and recorded in CW and WMS platforms.
  • Coordinate with Operations and Receiving teams to ensure the prompt and efficient resolution of inventory discrepancies.
  • Assist in and facilitate API and periodic audits, partnering with clients as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company and regulatory guidelines related to inventory management and storage.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the inventory control team.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • High School or GED or equivalent combination of experience and education to successfully perform the essential functions of the position or B.S. or B.A. in Business, Supply Chain Management, or other associated majors
  • 3 to 4 years in a high-volume warehouse distribution facility
  • Ability to multi-task, motivate others and build effective teams
