Location/Division Specific Information:
This is an onsite position at our Franklin, Massachusetts facility of the Clinical Trials Division and Pharma Services Group of Thermo Fisher Scientific.

A Day in the Life:
- Receiving, inspecting, counting, picking, and packing items for storage and/or shipment in accordance with established procedures and customer requirements
- Using an inventory management system for data entry, sample tracking, and management of samples
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Required: Minimum of 1 year work experience in distribution, warehouse, supply chain, or related field is required
Preferred: 18-months work experience in distribution, warehouse, supply chain, or related field Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), the pharmaceutical industry, or sample management
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Desire to work as part of a team, but also able to work independently and solve problems quickly
- Ability to read and write proficiently in English
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
- Primarily working with reach-in cold storage units, but some work within a +4C walk-in cold room, a -20C walk-in freezer, or a -40C walk-in freezer
- Ability to stand and move about the warehouse for significant periods of time (involving walking, stooping, bending, and reaching) required
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $15.85-$26.41.
