The Inventory Control Associate ensures the security of company inventory through periodic audits and evaluation of physical inventory.  The Associate follows procedures of handlings and/or recording movement of inventory.

As a Inventory Control Associate you will: 
  • Performs cycle at the beginning of every month to ensure inventory accuracy, and security of company’s merchandise. 
  • Follows company’s scanning policy, and reports all discrepancies to management. 
  • Investigates all unallocated merchandise.
  • Ensures all IST’s and transfers are done properly.
  • Verifies all customer pick-ups are picked and finalized correctly. 
  • Trains all warehouse, when needed, to properly locating merchandise to reduce inaccuracy. 
  • Prepares reports recording accuracy and recovery of all inventory. 
  • Investigates shortages of inventory and recommends measures to be implemented to prevent shortages. 
  • Reports all scanned short and scanned sold to inventory manager to resolve incorrect merchandise. 
  • Reports all damaged merchandise to management including pictures for security. 
  • Accept responsibility for safety and security of all company property in assigned area. 
  • Maintain equipment and work area is in clean and orderly condition. 
  • Maintains records and files in an orderly condition. 
  • Perform duties in accordance with company’s safety rules and operating regulations and practices.  Report any unsafe conditions or practices. 
  • Undertake and support any policy, change, system or work rules the company implements regarding the purpose of this position. 
  • Must be able to left, stoop, bend, push or pull up to 100 pounds. 
  • Must be able to sit/stand for an eight hour shift.
