Daher's Sandpoint, Idaho site is a key U.S. aircraft manufacturing and support location specializing in the handbuilt production of the Kodiak aircraft family. The facility supports final assembly, painting, inspection, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) activities for the Kodiak 100 and Kodiak 900, serving commercial, multimission, and public service customers worldwide. In addition to manufacturing, the site provides comprehensive aircraft maintenance, technical support, and quality oversight, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and customer requirements, while continuing to expand production capabilities and reinforcing its role as a center of excellence for rugged, missionready turboprop aircraft within Daher's global network.

Job Summary:

Kodiak Aircraft is seeking a detail-oriented warehouse coordinator who supports aircraft manufacturing operations by ensuring materials, parts, hardware, and inventory are accurately received, stored, controlled, transacted, and delivered to production. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy, material traceability, production readiness, and regulatory compliance while supporting operational excellence. The Warehouse Coordinator works closely with Manufacturing, Planning, Procurement, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to ensure the right materials are available at the right time to support production schedules and customer commitments.

Primary Role and Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, identify, verify, and stock aircraft parts, hardware, and materials in accordance with company procedures and quality requirements.
• Issue and deliver materials to production areas while maintaining inventory accuracy and material traceability.
• Perform inventory transactions, transfers, adjustments, and reconciliations within ERP/MRP systems accurately and in a timely manner.
• Verify part numbers, lot numbers, serial numbers, certifications, shelf-life requirements, and supporting documentation.
• Support production schedules by monitoring material availability and coordinating replenishment activities.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies, shortages, damaged materials, transaction errors, and nonconforming product.
• Participate in cycle counts, physical inventories, inventory audits, and reconciliation activities.
• Maintain stockroom organization utilizing 5S and visual management principles.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Planning, Procurement, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve material-related issues and support production objectives.
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, AS9100 standards, company procedures, and customer requirements related to material handling and inventory control.
• Safely operate material handling equipment in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, material flow, process standardization, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

What you need to have: (This is where you would put the requirements for the job)

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree or coursework in supply chain, logistics, or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in inventory control, shipping/receiving, or warehouse operations.
• Experience in inventory control, stockroom operations, warehouse management, logistics, manufacturing support, or a related field.
• Ability to learn and effectively use ERP/MRP systems and inventory management software.
• Understanding of inventory control, material handling, and inventory accuracy principles.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate recordkeeping.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, procedures, and technical documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with warehouse team and other departments.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods; comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Experience using ERP systems such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations, AS9100 standards, and quality management systems.
• Experience with cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, root cause analysis, and audit support.
• Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment.
• Familiarity with aircraft parts, hardware, tooling, or aviation manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience supporting production planning, scheduling, or material flow operations.

Information related to the position:

• The compensation range is $20.00 to $27.00 per hour.
• The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Daher considers a number of factors when determining salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, skills, and current market conditions.
