Inventory Control Coordinator

Location: Adairsville, GA

Non-Exempt Pay Range is $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

YANMAR America is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Control Coordinator to support warehouse and production operations through accurate inventory management and inventory control activities. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy by performing cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, processing inventory transactions in D365, and ensuring materials are properly located, labeled, and available to support production and customer needs.

The ideal candidate has experience working in a warehouse environment, strong ERP transaction experience, and a passion for accuracy, organization, and continuous improvement.


What You'll Do
  • Perform daily cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Execute inventory transactions in D365, including receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments.
  • Verify material locations, quantities, and labeling throughout the facility.
  • Support inventory accuracy across receiving, storage, production, and shipping operations.
  • Ensure materials are properly staged and available to support production schedules.
  • Maintain organized inventory locations in accordance with 3S standards.
  • Utilize handheld scanners and warehouse management tools to locate, track, and verify materials.
  • Assist with physical inventories, audits, and inventory reconciliation activities.
  • Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment as needed.
  • Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with Logistics, Production, and Production Control teams to support daily operations.

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of inventory control, warehouse, or materials management experience.
  • Experience performing inventory transactions within an ERP system (D365 strongly preferred).
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to work occasional weekends, holidays, early mornings, or evenings as business needs require.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to accurately operate handheld scanners and warehouse inventory tools.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
  • Ability to safely operate propane and electric-powered forklifts and clamp trucks.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
  • Experience supporting manufacturing or production environments.
  • Experience participating in inventory audits and inventory reconciliation activities.
