About the Role:

The Inventory Control Analyst will perform inventory movements and cycle counts for a Manufacturing/production company. 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain ABC classification of finished and raw materials.
  • Perform allocation of raw materials to production work orders.
  • Perform goods receipt of all raw materials, tooling and consumables.
  • Generate and perform cycle counts monthly to monitor accuracy of information on finished goods and raw materials.
  • Investigate and provide support monitoring proper inventory levels.
  • Provide assistance to Production Planners, Buyers, Expeditors and Supply Chain management by assuring inventory accuracy and correct stock levels. 
  • Manage the generation of obsolete material reports and investigate if materials can be used for other raw material needs. 
  • Support internal and external audits. 
  • Performs other related duties as assigned. 


Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.  
  • Previous experience with ERP systems such as:  Job Boss, SAP, Infor Visual or similar
  • Efficient typing skills, with an emphasis on accuracy and legal aspects of purchasing.
  • Ability to compile information and make decisions.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.  
  • Minimum 3 years related experience with an emphasis on raw material and finished goods inventory levels
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or related field preferred.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
