What You'll Do
As an Inventory Control Coordinator, you will be a vital link between our production and supply chain operations. Your day-to-day will include:
- Performing daily cycle counts and inventory accuracy checks
- Coordinating inbound shipments from vendors and intercompany transfers
- Receiving and unloading materials, maintaining organization and stock levels
- Accurately entering data into our system to support operational efficiency
- Maintain yard layout, cleanliness, and organization
- Supporting production with timely and accurate inventory availability
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a similar role.
- Experience in using inventory management software and systems.
- Proven track record of maintaining accurate inventory records and managing stock levels efficiently.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong analytical skills to assess inventory data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory counts and record-keeping.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including purchasing and operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address inventory discrepancies and optimize processes.
