About the RoleThe Director of Inventory and Logistics will develop and execute comprehensive strategies to optimize inventory levels, streamline logistics operations, and enhance supply chain efficiency while ensuring mission-critical components are available when needed. Inventory Management

  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to ensureoptimalinventory levels and minimize costs

Strategic Leadership:

Supplier and Stakeholder Management:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering,Logistics, Business Administration, or related field;Master'sdegree preferred

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role spanning both inventory andlogisticsfunctions

  • Strong knowledge of inventory management andlogisticsprinciples, practices, and tools

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing integrated supply chain strategies

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Proficiencyin inventory management software, transportation management systems, and ERP systems

  • Experience in aerospace or industrial manufacturing is highly desirable

  • APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP) or CSCMP certification is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with aerospace supply chain operations and familiarity with space industry requirements

  • Knowledge ofDoD/government requirements fordefense product handling/experience managinggovernment property

  • Knowledge of internationallogisticsand import/export regulations/ITAR management

  • Experience managing complex, high-value inventory with specialized handling requirements

  • Background in implementing lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies in supply chain operations

  • Track record of successful supply chain transformation initiatives

Compensation:

Pay Range:

$155,851.00 - $214,315.00

Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education,experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
