Job description

 

Major Drilling, one of the world’s largest and most successful drilling companies, has an opening for a Warehouse Clerk in our Salt Lake City location. 

The Warehouse Associate is a full-time position and will be a key member of our Warehouse Team. 

The successful candidate will be efficient and organized, as well as a self-starter. They must have a positive attitude, be dependable, and be eager to learn.   


Warehouse Associate responsibilities include, but are not limited to:      

  • Reconcile original orders to invoices created for that order along with the parts (items) pulled for that order
  • Finalize/correct mistakes before packages leave the building and are delivered to end users or store facilities  
  • Process and print accurate shipping labels based on the invoice provided
  • Type precisely and productively using PC's, hand-held computers, or similar technology 
  • Meet efficiency and productivity requirements 
  • Record shipment data including Work Order and destination  
  • Perform data entry duties for the input items received  
  • Perform daily filing of all paperwork associated with shipping and receiving   
  • Basic knowledge of Lean and 5S Principles  
  • Forklift certification preferred  
  • Basic knowledge of inventory control  
  • Ability to read a tape measure 
  • Other duties as assigned
