Position Overview

As an RSR1, you will be responsible for selling goods and providing a positive customer experience on the selling floor, via phone, or through email. The ideal candidate will safely deliver a high-quality customer experience while increasing profitable sales. This role requires consistent excellence, face-to-face customer service experience, and a determination to continually contribute to process improvements.

Job-Specific Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience: Drive profitable sales of company products and services while creating "raving fans" out of our clients.

  • Lead Generation: Continually obtain customer referrals and successfully generate leads for the outside sales team.

  • Sales Analysis: Track regular customer sales patterns and analyze data to anticipate client needs, guard customer accounts, and identify growth opportunities.

  • Showroom Operations: Maintain a clean, fully stocked, and organized retail showroom.

  • POS Transactions: Efficiently operate the cash register, process POS transactions, and maintain accurate documentation of all customer transactions.

  • Product Expertise: Maintain extensive knowledge of products carried and actively educate customers on monthly product promotions.

  • Logistics & Deliveries: Plan efficient delivery routes, ensure proper/safe stocking of delivery vehicles, assist with loading/unloading, deliver product, and pick up used batteries.

  • Technical Support: Assist retail customers and safely perform vehicle battery installations.

  • Inventory Control: Perform regular inventory cycle counts and complete physical inventory counts.

  • Teamwork & Maintenance: Coordinate with supervisors to achieve sales objectives, train personnel on mastered processes, and perform assigned facility/equipment maintenance tasks.

Minimum QualificationsFormal Training:
  • Associate Degree, or equivalent professional experience (3.0 or higher GPA preferred).

Experience Required:
  • Minimum of 6 months working for Continental Battery Systems in any capacity, OR

  • Minimum of 1 year of external experience within a dedicated sales role.

  • Must meet standard knowledge, skills, abilities, and values (KSAVs) for retail operations.
