Job description

Corin is seeking to hire an Instrument Kit Associate to join our Raynham, MA team to build and functionally check all new and used instrument sets (which are used in surgery for the implant of hips and knees). These are then distributed to the export and subsidiary markets. The Instrument Kit Associate will also process all customer returns from these markets via the appropriate disposition in the specified timescales.
Key results areas for the Instrument Kit Associate are to:
  • Build complete and functional instrument sets in a timely manner.
  • Process instrument set returns and individual instruments in a timely manner.
  • Proactively communicate set-down needs and establish delivery dates of instrument components, in order to achieve the monthly target for kits built.
  • Process and return complaint-related instruments branded by Corin against RMAs.

The key responsibilities of an Instrument Kit Associate are to:
  • Build all instrument sets for the US, its subsidiary markets, and export markets monthly.
  • Manager the return of all Return Goods Authorization (RGA) instrument and implant processing received.
  • Use Sage ERP system effectively to create work orders, gather stock per the kit list, and allocate stock in the process of building instrument sets.
  • Operate the instrument sanitation washers for the cleaning of all RGA sets and RGA individual instruments received.
  • Exhibit inventory control and accurately check all instrument stock.
  • Ensure good housekeeping in and around the department.
  • Work within the boundaries of Corin's Quality Control systems.
  • Additional requirements as assigned by the area manager.

The ideal Instrument Kit Associate will;
  • Highschool diploma, G.E.D. Prior Medical Device experience preferred.
  • Be able to analyze and execute a strategy for daily workloads, highlight issues, and offer proactive resolution options to achieve the schedule.
  • Adaptive to changes in priority and be able to come back to open projects.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Exhibits process discipline in a fast-paced environment
  • Have a working computer knowledge with the ability to pick things up quickly.
  • Have good communication skills and establish successful working relationships.
  • Show a good work ethic and be a team player, whilst working effectively independently
