Position Purpose Summary:

The Warehouse Associate / Driver supports daily branch operations by performing warehouse functions and assisting with local deliveries as needed. This role is primarily responsible for receiving, stocking, and fulfilling orders while maintaining an organized and safe warehouse environment. The position also provides backup delivery support, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to customers. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, a safety-first mindset, and a commitment to customer service.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

· Receive, verify, and stock incoming inventory accurately and efficiently

· Pull, stage, and prepare customer orders for pickup or delivery

· Load and unload trucks and customer vehicles safely

· Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) in a safe manner

· Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards

· Perform inventory control tasks including cycle counts and stock organization

· Assist with counter sales and customer service as needed

· Deliver products to customer locations in a safe, timely, and professional manner when required

· Inspect delivery vehicle(s) and ensure compliance with safety and DOT requirements (if applicable)

· Communicate effectively with team members to ensure order accuracy and on-time fulfillment

Education and Experience:

Certifications: · Forklift certification (preferred or ability to obtain) · Proper License classification with DOT medical certification. CDL preferred, but not required

Educational Requirements: · High school diploma or equivalent required · HVAC or related product knowledge preferred

Years of Experience: · 1–3 years of warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience preferred

· Previous delivery driving experience a plus

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: · Strong attention to detail and organizational skills · Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and handle materials · Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required · Ability to read maps, follow directions, and plan efficient delivery routes · Basic computer skills for inventory and order processing systems · Strong teamwork and communication skills · Ability to lift and move materials up to 70 lbs and perform physical labor throughout the shift
