Job description

The Boat House of Naples is expanding their service department again and looking for an A Team Player Parts Associate to join our team of energetic, fun, customer-focused individuals! The Boat House Group has multiple accolades, in addition to being a Top 100 dealer in the industry.
If you have a niche for inventory control, thrive in a busy work environment and have excellent computer skills with an attention to detail that is unmatched, we would like to speak with you immediately!
The candidate we really want to meet will be able to fulfill the following Duties & Responsibilities:
  • A working knowledge of Marine engines and the sub-categories they may fall in to.
  • Familiar with the Suzuki, Yamaha, Mercury and Volvo Penta brands.
  • Greet customer promptly and courteously and present yourself in a professional manner.
  • Working knowledge of marine parts and components and ability to master dealer management software selected by organization.
  • Exhibit proper telephone technique with customers.
  • Process sales from retail customers, suggest additional related parts for completing the repair/sale.
  • Process sales from internal customers.
  • Maintain a courteous and professional working relationship with all members of the organization.
  • Process all paperwork on a timely basis and with accuracy.
  • Assist in efficient inventory control (i.e., daily bin checks, processing, returns, posting, etc).
  • Track parts and supplies provided to Technicians per Repair Order.
  • Distribute Special Orders promptly and ensure a consistent follow-up policy to relieve inventory.
  • Verify counters, bins, and storage areas are kept clean and uncluttered.
  • Receive and stock items upon shipment arrival.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures, keeping work areas within your control clean and organized to lessen safety concerns.
  • Assist in maintaining the professional, clean appearance of the parts department, to include but not limited to cleaning public areas.
  • Attend all assigned meetings

  • Other duties as assigned
