Choice IT Global, founded in 2018, is a leading independent provider of compatible optical transceivers, fiber cables, fiber and network connectivity products as well as new and pre-owned networking equipment.


Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Warehouse & Shipping Associate at Choice IT Global in Rogers, MN. Warehouse & Shipping Associate will be responsible for managing shipping and receiving processes, processing shipments, emailing shipping notifications, locating items within inventory, handing returns, maintaining inventory control, and monitoring order flow to ensure shipments get out in a timely manner.


Qualifications

  • Shipping & Receiving, Inventory Control, and Export skills
  • Customer Service and Forklift Operation abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with inventory management systems is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications.
  • IQ Reseller experience, preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to read and write English.
  • Prior warehouse experience or training preferred but not required.
  • Prior Ordering Processing experience is a plus


Physical Requirements:

ยท Must be able to life up to 50 pounds at a time

ยท Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer


Responsibilities Include:

  • Shipping, Receiving and inventory control.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, lifting, gripping, twisting and reaching.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a continual basis.
  • Must be able to stand and walk about the Warehouse throughout the scheduled shift.
  • Ability to use computer and radio frequency devices (RF scanner).
  • Must be able to meet department KPI standards (productivity, quality, pick time)
  • All work areas must be kept clean and free of debris
  • Individual may be assigned to other warehouse, shipping and order processing duties as needed.
  • Communication with Warehouse & Shipping Coordinator / Operations / Technical team


Requirements:

  • Must be reliable and on-time to work each day. Hours are 8:00am โ€“ 5:00pm Monday through Friday.
  • Present a professional, friendly communication style with customers and other company employees.
  • Attention to detail is a must.
  • Must be self-motivated and possess ability to work independently.
  • Good work ethic.
