Job description

A distribution Center Company located in Georgetown, ON is currently seeking a Full-Time Inventory Control/Forklift Operator to start immediately.

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour.

Available Shifts:

1) Afternoon: Monday - Thursday 3:30 PM to 1:30 PM (10 hrs/shift)

2) Day: Monday - Thursday 5 AM to 3:30 PM (10 hrs/shift)

Duties:

  • Collaborate with the Inventory Control (IC) Manager to ensure timely cycle counts, returns, and inventory accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory shortages, overages, and process related claims.
  • Verify and manage client QA On-Hold requests, ensuring proper pallet handling and segregation.
  • Perform Mock Recalls, report results to the IC Manager, and monitor inventory holds for aged or special inventory.
  • Track and report on damage, donation areas, and aged inventory, working with the client to minimize issues.

Requirements:

  • Valid Forklift License for Driving Raymond Reach, Dock Stoker, and Walkie
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Ability to work closely with the IC Manager and team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Experience in handling overages, shortages, damage claims, and inventory adjustments.
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage and monitor special inventory holds, including client-specific requests.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills to minimize aged inventory and other potential issues.
