Position Summary

The Store Support Associate (SSA), also known as the Receiver, is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing inventory, maintaining stockroom organization, and supporting overall store operations.

This role is primarily operational and behind the scenes, ensuring the sales floor is fully stocked, organized, and prepared to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving & Inventory Processing

The SSA is responsible for receiving, unpacking, and verifying incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

They prepare merchandise for the sales floor by ticketing, tagging, and organizing products while identifying and reporting discrepancies or damaged goods. Maintaining accurate inventory records is a key part of this role.

Stockroom Organization & Inventory Control

This role maintains a clean, organized, and efficient stockroom, ensuring that product is stored properly and easily accessible.

The SSA supports cycle counts and inventory audits while helping minimize shrink through organization and attention to detail.

Sales Floor Support

The SSA supports the sales floor by replenishing merchandise as needed and assisting with visual merchandising and product flow.

They help team members locate products quickly and may provide basic customer assistance when necessary.

Operations & Store Support

This position assists with overall store operations, including maintaining cleanliness and organization.
