Overview
As a Shipping & Inventory Control Supervisor, you will support Brightstar Lottery's warehouse and logistics operations by leading shipping activities, maintaining inventory accuracy, and driving operational excellence across distribution processes. This role is responsible for ensuring timely order fulfillment, effective inventory control, procurement support for indirect materials, and the development of standardized operating procedures that enhance safety, quality, and efficiency. This role will be located onsite in Lakeland, FL.
What You'll Do
  • Lead daily shipping operations to ensure customer orders are prepared accurately and shipped on schedule.
  • Coordinate outbound shipments with carriers, freight providers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and corrective action initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for shipping, inventory control, receiving, and warehouse processes.
  • Investigate shipping discrepancies, inventory variances, and transportation-related issues.
  • Coach and develop team members, communicate operational priorities, support cross-training initiatives, and promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Support procurement activities for indirect materials, including vendor replenishment activities, supplier coordination, and blanket purchase order administration.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring
  • 3-5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, shipping, inventory control, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong knowledge of shipping, warehouse, and inventory management processes.
  • Experience maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counting, audits, and inventory control practices.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills with a focus on process improvement.
  • Capability to develop, implement, and maintain SOPs and operational work instructions.

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $38,281 - $156,700. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
