Job description

Position Title: DC Inventory Specialist
Compensation: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
Overtime: Overtime is mandatory, typically up to 2 hours at the end of the shift. Advance notice will be provided.


Position Summary:
The DC Inventory Specialist is responsible for all processes and procedures related to product flow and inventory accuracy within the Logistics Center. This role ensures warehouse bin accuracy, maintains inventory shrink, and utilizes the Warehouse Management System (WMS) along with various types of material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions to ensure accuracy.
  • Address and resolve bin location variances.
  • Research and resolve issues related to problem orders and receipts within the Logistics Center.
  • Enter data accurately into the Warehouse Management System, databases, and reporting tools.
  • Perform system entries to maintain inventory and bin accuracy, including cycle counts, pick exceptions, bad box, lost bin, found bin, pick paths, and bin maintenance.
  • Collect, maintain, and provide detailed statistics and reports on various performance metrics.
  • Analyze and research data to identify trends and areas of risk, using this information to drive process improvements.
  • Serve as a resource to team members in resolving complex problems and issues.
  • Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional groups to investigate and resolve complex operational issues.
  • Train and mentor colleagues to support skill development.
  • Maintain high quality standards in all assigned functions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Meet established attendance and punctuality standards.
