Overview

The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for maintaining and auditing the inventory control program at Allied Beverage Group. This includes but is not limited to reviewing inventory moves, generating associated metrics and addressing inventory concerns.

Responsibilities
Communication
  • Must possess strong written and oral communication abilities; responsible for communicating with frontline employees and giving direction where appropriate, interacting with managerial staff.
  • Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds, understand customer satisfaction and customer fill rate.
  • Ability to generate metrics that are readable and coherent.
  • Willing to work cooperatively with partners across 3 shifts of operation to ensure inventory accuracy.
Process Improvement  
  • Should be detail-oriented problem-solvers with critical thinking and time management skills and can work effectively both independently and in teams
  • Ability to work adeptly in Microsoft Excel to analyze data and generate reports
  • Ability to identify operational gaps based on inventory accuracy trends
Operational Excellence 
  • Should be familiar with all aspects of operations. Experience in an automated warehouse or production facility is preferable.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems and ERP systems
  • Understanding of metrics for storage and retrieval of inventory
  • Must understand and have accountability for the way inventory affects operations
Results Orientation 
  • Knowledge of warehouse processes in a wide range of functions with capability of coordinating activities in warehousing operations
  • Business acumen and understanding of customer and large sku base operations  
  • An overwhelming need to provide excellent customer service though fulfillment 
Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED equivalent 
College degree related to Engineering, Science, Supply Chain is preferred
3-5 years of experience within a warehouse or distribution environment
Experience in automated warehouse preferred
Lean or Six Sigma Certification preferred
Experience working with WMS and ERP systems
Experience working in a union environment preferred
Functional system understanding Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to work non-traditional business hours including evenings, nights and weekends when required
Strong Communication skills - verbal, presentation, writing
Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000, depending on qualifications such as experience, education, and skillset.
