Shift/Hours: 1st Shift - Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Pay Rate: $19.50/hour
Location: Vinings, Ga 30339
Environment: Industrial/Manufacturing Facility
***This position operates in a dedicated office located inside an active industrial plant environment. While the work is primarily desk-based, daily entry into the production area is required to verify inventory. The environment may be subject to plant noise, dust, and temperature variations.***

Position Summary: The Industrial Inventory & Data Clerk (Cylinder Tracking) is responsible for the accurate entry, maintenance, and verification of cylinder-related data within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365). This position operates inside a fast-paced warehousing environment, bridging the gap between our physical cylinder inventory and our D365 digital tracking system. You will play a critical role in supporting inventory control, asset tracking, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance by ensuring that cylinder records are complete, accurate, and maintained in accordance with company standards and procedures.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Audit Support: Assist with physical inventory counts, cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation activities.
  • Data Entry & Management: Accurately enter cylinder information into Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), including serial numbers, asset identifiers, inventory status, locations, and transaction details.
  • Record Integrity: Create, update, and maintain cylinder records to ensure absolute data integrity and accuracy.
  • Document Review: Audit source documents and operational records for completeness and correctness prior to system entry.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies in close coordination with operations, warehouse, and inventory personnel.
  • Inventory Processing: Process inventory transactions, transfers, receipts, shipments, and status changes within the D365 ERP system.
  • Tracking & Reporting: Maintain precise records of cylinder movements and inventory adjustments. Generate and review reports to monitor inventory accuracy and support operational decision-making.
  • Compliance: Adhere strictly to company policies, procedures, and established data management standards.
  • Process Improvement: Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing inventory management and data accuracy.


Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of data entry, administrative, inventory control, or related clerical experience.
  • Strong attention to detail with a proven track record of high-level accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with an emphasis on Excel.
  • Ability to manage large volumes of data while maintaining quality standards.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Knowledge of inventory management, asset tracking, or warehouse operations.
  • Specific experience working with serialized inventory or cylinder tracking systems.
  • Familiarity with inventory reconciliation and audit processes.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
