Job Overview
The Inventory Control Driver will be responsible for safely driving onsite transporting materials, supplies and chemicals to and from various buildings within the location assigned. The individual will maintain records of materials in inventory and keep tracking logs in compliance.
Roles & Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Safely drive designated truck/van to transport materials, supplies and chemicals from various assigned areas within the location to designated buildings
  • Comply with safety and environmental rules, policies, and procedures
  • Practice stopping at risk behavior of others and self
  • Scan bar codes on packages for delivery and pick up
  • Receive, unpack, and deliver goods
  • Monitor and maintain current inventory levels and perform physical count of inventory
  • Re-stock items as necessary and labels shelves
  • Record and process purchasing orders as required
  • Process and/or approve invoices for payment
  • Maintain sample signature log from assigned areas for pick up and deliveries, tracks orders and investigates problems
  • Process and document returns as required following established procedures
  • Perform routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones, and assisting customers
  • May be required to move or transport radioactive container(s) to assigned areas
  • Communicate effectivity and professionally with coworkers, leads, supervisors, managers and customers (this may require the use of radios, Walkie-talkie, etc.)
  • Take direction and responds to supervision
  • Use proper personal protective equipment

Qualification
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/ or Experience:
High school diploma / GED
One year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Valid Driver's License to operate company or personal vehicles
Required to have proof of vehicle registration and insurance
May be required to have forklift certification
Completed all safety, environmental and task training certifications
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
