The Inventory Associate accurately and efficiently handles materials to support both production and development operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role focuses on inventory control, material handling, and virtual transactions using proprietary software and ERP systems, while maintaining high standards of safety, productivity, and quality.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately and efficiently handle materials to support production and development activities.
  • Use proprietary software and ERP systems to perform virtual material transactions and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Document system issues, process flaws, and operational inefficiencies and communicate them to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with quality control, purchasing, and other related departments to resolve inventory and material-related problems.
  • Move materials between sites both physically and virtually, ensuring timely and correct transfers.
  • Identify training needs within the team and assist in onboarding and training new hires and junior peers.
  • Meet safety, productivity, and quality standards by following established best practices and standard operating procedures.
  • Resolve individual work blockers independently and escalate issues when necessary to ensure workflow continuity.
  • Learn and adapt to new processes and procedures as operations evolve.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and hand carts, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Contribute to the improvement of standard operating procedures, including safety protocols and material handling processes.
  • Use Excel and other business software to track inventory, prepare documentation, and support reporting needs.
Essential Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience using Excel in a business or operational environment.
  • Experience with inventory control and warehouse operations.
  • Hands-on material handling experience (at least 1 year), including moving, storing, and tracking materials.
  • Ability to use proprietary software and ERP systems for virtual material transactions.
  • Ability to carry and lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and nights, maintain at least 40 hours per week, and perform overtime as needed.
  • Comfort working with business software tools, particularly Word documents and Excel.
  • Eligibility to work under applicable export control laws and regulations (U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee or asylee).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems (preferred).
  • Preferred experience with ERP software such as Oracle or Salesforce.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling and documenting inventory.
  • Ability to identify process issues and contribute to continuous improvement of SOPs.
  • Effective communication skills to work with cross-functional teams such as quality control and purchasing.

Work Environment

Standard work hours are 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM, ten-hour shifts on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The environment is fast-paced and physically active, involving frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and performing movements such as pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching. Team members use material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and hand carts, and work extensively with computer-based tools, proprietary software, Excel, and ERP systems to manage inventory and transactions.
