The Inventory Associate will be responsible for vehicle clean-up and general labor throughout the facility. The Inventory Associate will prep vehicles for inventory per company guidelines while maintaining company standards for accuracy and cleanliness of the vehicles. In addition, the Inventory Associate will perform general labor tasks for the facility which can include general facility clean up, minor repairs, and other duties. Finally, through a thorough understanding of Copart's practices, the Inventory Associate will help facilitate the Copart experience by providing excellent service to customers of Copart. Complete work orders daily Assist members with jump-starting cars Escort customers Drive vehicles in and out of the facility Clean, vacuum, and wash vehicles according to criteria Shrink-wrap vehicle for storage Secure personal documents according to criteria Maintain a clean yard Maintain spill response Maintain neat, organized building/shop Maintain a safe working environment according to criteria. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to work outdoors in all seasons
  • General automotive knowledge/mechanical aptitude preferred
  • Basic computer proficiency, with the ability to operate handheld devices preferred
  • Strong attention to detail Ability to work in a team environment Driver's license preferred
