Job description

Major Food Distributor located in Hunts Point Cooperative Market in the Bronx is looking for a Full-Time Inventory Associate. The Inventory Associate is responsible for the verification, accuracy, processing and management of warehouse product inventory. Inventory data processing required while keeping inventory information correct and accurate.

  • Documentation of product supplier/inventor, counts and other relevant information
  • Verify Inventory management information accuracy
  • Ensure all working and common areas are kept clean and organized
  • Learn and retain product knowledge and specifications
  • Effectively work in cooperation with safety department staff and management on duties assigned
  • Performs related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift up to 80lbs and looking for jack and Hilo experience.
  • This is a fast-paced environment

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:

  • Punctuality/Reliability/Flexibility.
  • Ability to read and write.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Desire to learn and adapt to changing situations and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge in warehouse operations and products helpful.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (fluent in English & Spanish) a plus
