Job Summary:
The Inventory Picker is primarily responsible for the day-to-day picking of orders, updating order systems, and returning items to stock in the inventory area.
Essential Functions:
  • Daily picking of component parts for customer work orders
  • Inputs and monitors inventory information in tablet and or computer
  • Ensure parts are returned to their proper stocking location
  • Ensure picked orders are delivered to appropriate area(s)
  • Report Inventory shortages to the Inventory Supervisor immediately
  • Investigate Inventory discrepancies when requested by the Inventory Supervisor
  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements
Qualifications/Education/Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have Basic computer skills
  • Must have Basic Math Skills (measuring, use of calculator)
  • Must be comfortable using a tablet based system
  • Ability to read and comprehend work-related materials, instructions, and documentation written in English
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions provided in English
  • Ability to understand and complete verbal and written training materials presented in English.
  • Ability to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to use weight scales

Physical Demands:
  • Must frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • When performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk, use hands to finger or handle or feel objects and tools or controls and talk or hear
  • Employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms
  • Employee is occasionally required to sit
