Job description

X-Ray Technician / Medical Assistant – Orthopedic Practice

We are seeking a Licensed/Certified X-Ray Tech & Medical Assistant to join our busy orthopedic practice. This dual role combines diagnostic imaging with clinical back-office support, offering variety in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:

  • Perform X-rays (spine & extremities) and coordinate outside imaging.
  • Patient intake, vitals, and post-visit education.
  • Administer medications/injections; manage medication inventory.
  • Assist with procedures, prescription refills, and prior authorizations.
  • Coordinate and fit orthopedic DME (braces, boots, slings, etc.).
  • Support pre-op/post-op documentation and patient follow-up.
Requirements:

  • Licensed X-Ray Technician & Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
  • 3+ years of clinical experience (orthopedic/surgical preferred).
  • Strong EMR skills (eClinicalWorks a plus).
  • Excellent multitasking, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
