Cultivation Inventory Supervisor - Mesquite

Department: Cultivation

Reports To: Senior Director of Cultivation

Cultivation Compliance Coordinator. 

Reporting Structure and Functional Alignment

Cultivation Compliance Coordinator > Cultivation Inventory Supervisor > Senior Director of Cultivation 

The Cultivation Inventory Supervisor operates in a cross-functional environment and works closely with cultivation, packaging, post-harvest, production, and sales teams to ensure accurate inventory control and regulatory compliance across cultivation operations. Cross-functional collaboration does not alter the formal reporting relationship. 

Position Summary 

Following company policies and direction from cultivation leadership, the Cultivation Inventory Supervisor oversees cultivation inventory operations and provides supervisory oversight of compliance execution activities performed by the Cultivation Compliance Coordinator. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate tracking, reconciliation, transfer, and release of cultivation inventory, including raw material, harvest batches, finished goods, and internal or wholesale transfers. 

The Cultivation Inventory Supervisor is accountable for inventory integrity, audit readiness, and compliance outcomes related to cultivation inventory and ensures adherence to all applicable Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board (CCB) requirements, Nevada Revised Statutes (Title 56), Nevada Cannabis Compliance Regulations (NCCR), and all CCB-issued guidance applicable to cultivation facilities. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Oversee cultivation inventory control operations to ensure accuracy between physical inventory, METRC, TrackVia, and internal inventory systems 
  • Provide direct supervision and oversight of the Cultivation Compliance Coordinator’s inventory-related compliance activities 
  • Ensure accurate tracking and reconciliation of: 
  • Raw cultivation material 
  • Harvest batches 
  • Finished product packages 
  • Internal and wholesale cultivation transfers 
  • Assign, manage, and maintain accurate cultivation inventory and packaging tags in accordance with Nevada CCB requirements 
  • Oversee the preparation, review, and accuracy of internal and wholesale transfer manifests and associated documentation 
  • Perform final quality control review of outgoing cultivation shipments, including labeling, organization, and documentation prior to release 
  • Oversee reconciliation of all packaging sessions to ensure alignment between METRC, TrackVia, and physical inventory before product is released to the vault 
  • Monitor and account for cannabis inventory usage by reviewing reconciliations between source tags, physical inventory, and approved inventory adjustments 
  • Establish, maintain, and enforce daily, periodic, and monthly inventory reconciliation procedures 
  • Maintain accountability for shipping label creation, storage, access control, and accuracy 
  • Oversee and verify the accuracy of inventory records, transfers, and manifests within internal systems and CCB-mandated databases, ensuring proper execution by assigned personnel 
  • Ensure cultivation inventory operations comply with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, coordinating with compliance personnel to address discrepancies, audits, inspections, or regulatory inquiries 
  • Support and oversee audit readiness activities, including documentation review and response to announced or unannounced inspections conducted by regulatory agencies 
  • Communicate inventory discrepancies, compliance risks, or operational obstacles promptly to cultivation leadership 
  • Ensure all assigned duties are completed in accordance with departmental SOPs, safety protocols, and regulatory standards 
  • Represent the company professionally during interactions with Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board agents, inspectors, and other local, state, or federal officials 
  • Perform other duties as assigned 

Schedule and Work Hours 

Flexible schedule based on operational and compliance needs, including coverage during audits, emergency situations, vacant shifts, or facility issues as required. 

Compliance and Continuing Eligibility 

Employment is contingent upon ongoing compliance with company policies, Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board regulations, applicable local, state, and federal laws, METRC requirements, and maintenance of all required licenses, registrations, and work authorizations. Employees must remain current on CCB guidance, regulatory bulletins, and METRC updates applicable to cultivation operations as a condition of continued employment. 

In the event of a conflict between company policy and applicable Nevada law or CCB requirements, Nevada law and CCB regulations shall govern.
