Job Summary:

The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for supervising the daily execution of inventory control activities that maintain inventory accuracy, transaction integrity, and material visibility throughout Noovo's manufacturing operation. This role leads the Inventory Control team in ensuring all inventory transactions are accurately executed within Odoo ERP and that physical inventory aligns with system records.

The Inventory Control Supervisor oversees cycle counting, inventory audits, transaction verification, warehouse location accuracy, material investigations, and inventory discrepancy resolution. Working closely with Production, Receiving, Purchasing, ERP Operations, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering, this role ensures material is available, traceable, and accurately represented to support uninterrupted production and customer commitments.

This position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory integrity and supporting Noovo's operational goals through disciplined inventory management and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Inventory Control Operations

• Supervise the daily activities of the Inventory Control team.
• Assign and prioritize daily workload based on production requirements and inventory priorities.
• Ensure all inventory transactions are completed accurately and on time.
• Verify inventory movements comply with established procedures.
• Monitor warehouse organization and inventory location accuracy.

Inventory Accuracy

• Maintain inventory accuracy in accordance with company targets.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and determine root causes.
• Ensure inventory adjustments are properly documented and approved
• Validate that physical inventory matches ERP inventory.
• Support annual physical inventory activities.

Cycle Count Program

• Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly cycle count schedules.
• Ensure ABC cycle count requirements are completed.
• Review count variances and assign investigations.
• Verify corrective actions are implemented.
• Report cycle count performance to the Inventory Control Manager.

ERP Transaction Integrity

• Review inventory transactions for completeness and accuracy.
• Monitor receiving, stock transfers, production consumption, returns, and inventory adjustments.
• Identify and correct transaction errors in partnership with the ERP Operations team.
• Ensure "No Transaction, No Movement" policy is consistently enforced.

Warehouse Location Management

• Maintain accurate warehouse location assignments.
• Verify material is stored in designated locations.
• Eliminate unidentified or temporary storage locations.
• Improve warehouse organization and material flow.

Material Investigations

• Investigate shortages impacting production.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies with Receiving, Production, Purchasing, and Quality.
• Support root cause investigations related to inventory accuracy issues.
• Escalate systemic issues to the Inventory Control Manager.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Provide daily direction and coaching to Inventory Control Specialists.

• Monitor individual performance and productivity.
• Promote adherence to standard work and safety requirements.
• Support employee development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives.
• Recommend process improvements that reduce inventory errors and transaction delays.
• Support implementation of new inventory control tools and technologies.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent experience in inventory control or warehouse operations will be considered.

Required:

• 3+ years of inventory control or warehouse operations experience.
• Previous experience leading or supervising a team.
• Experience using ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with cycle counting and inventory reconciliation.

Preferred:

Odoo ERP experience.

Automotive, RV, aerospace, or manufacturing industry experience.

Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma exposure.

Compensation:

• $23 - $27 an hour, depending on experience.
