Are you a Mechanical Engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, working directly with customers, and seeing your designs come to life?
ANDRITZ Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support custom-engineered equipment and machinery used by paper manufacturers around the world.
This role offers the opportunity to work across the entire project lifecycle, from design and engineering through manufacturing, installation, troubleshooting, and product development.
What You'll Do
  • Design mechanical equipment and machinery using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor
  • Develop layouts, production drawings, bills of material, and technical documentation
  • Partner directly with customers to support installations, troubleshooting, and project execution
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales, and Project Management teams
  • Drive product improvements, value engineering initiatives, and innovative solutions
  • Travel to customer sites throughout North America and internationally to support projects and installations

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related discipline
  • Experience with Autodesk Inventor and/or AutoCAD
  • Strong mechanical design and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project coordination skills
  • Passion for hands-on engineering and customer interaction
  • Ability and willingness to travel 25-50% globally
