    Camp Invention is a program of the nonprofit National Inventors Hall of Fame. Over 20,000 educators from across the country will be part of the National Inventors Hall of Fame's unique education programs this year and we would love for YOU to be one of them!
    The Camp Invention Director is the liaison between Camp Invention and the host site. This position provides a gratifying experience to those with a true appreciation for enrichment and innovation programs.

    • Demonstrate enthusiasm when representing the program

    Director Responsibilities Include:

    • Communicate frequently with National Inventors Hall of Fame Regional Representative
    • Attend Director orientations (via conference calls, webinars or in person)
    • Review all communications from the Regional Representative
    • Manage student roster
    • Recruit, train and supervise Program Team Members (which include Instructors, Camp Parents, Leadership Interns and Volunteers)
    • Promote the program within the community

    - Obtain district approval and distribute flyers to K-6 students- Promote through school websites, PTA/PTO newsletters, posters, etc. * Coordinate site logistics (including but not limited to)
    - Pre-program paperwork and setup- First day registration logistics- Participant group assignments- Parent communications- Participant arrival and departure- Base Camp and lunchtime supervision- Program Team meetings- Drop in on all classrooms- Maintain order - including discipline


    Salary/Perks:

    • Stipends ranging between $675 and $1350. Pay increases with enrollment!
    • Personal thank you letter from the US Patent and Trademark Office and 3 CEUs - great resume boosters! (Note: acceptance of CEU is based on state and local guidelines, remove reference to CEUs if not applicable in your region)
    • Two free Camp registrations for your children (minimum value of $550)
    • ZERO content investment and ALL the tools for step-by-step, turnkey implementation - all materials, curriculum, program schedules, promotional resources, etc. are provided!
