Job Title:System Administrator - Intermediate (Packing Support Services) Location: San Antonio TX Clearance: Secret Education: BS Degree in Computer Science or related field, or Military training or Cloud+ or CISSP Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate Position Description: The Tier 3 Enterprise Management (EM) OSD Specialist provides advanced support for operating system deployment (OSD) across the Defense Health Agency’s (DHA) enterprise management environment. This role ensures the secure design, testing, deployment, and sustainment of enterprise operating system images and task sequences in both on-premises MECM and MED365 Intune cloud environments. The EM OSD Specialist ensures that all DHA-managed devices receive secure, reliable, and standardized operating system builds. By integrating OS imaging with enterprise security requirements and modern cloud-native deployment models, this role enables consistent performance, compliance, and mission readiness across the Military Health System. Design, build, and maintain OSD task sequences in compliance with DHA security baselines, ensuring alignment with DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), IAVM directives, and enterprise standards. Develop and deploy Windows operating system images for desktops, laptops, and servers, including validation in ITC test environments prior to enterprise release. Integrate and troubleshoot driver packages, firmware updates, and middleware components within OSD pipelines. Provide technical documentation, after-action reports, and updated release notes to support change management and enterprise sustainment processes. Coordinate with EM Packaging and Administration teams to ensure OS images align with enterprise software packages, security patches, and application readiness. Support modernization efforts to transition OSD processes into cloud-native Intune/Autopilot deployments in alignment with DHA’s Zero Trust strategy.
