Position Overview

American Constructors is looking for an experienced marketing/communications professional with a can-do attitude to join our Marketing team. This person will be responsible for leading our content strategy, developing RFQ/RFP responses, and maintaining the company CRM system.

This role requires a collaborative, highly organized, flexible, quick learner who can manage multiple projects, thrive in a deadline driven environment as well as work with cross functional teams. The successful candidate should have strong creative and technical writing skills and be able to manage multiple projects. This individual will develop and produce digital and print content for different marketing channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement strategic communications that effectively convey our brand message.
  • Utilize basic photography/video skills to create engaging content for various platforms.
  • Manage our social media platforms, creating and curating content that resonates with our audience.
  • Create and manage email marketing campaigns, keeping our clients informed and engaged.
  • Implement SEO strategies to increase our online visibility and drive website traffic.
  • Develop compelling copy and proposals that align with our brand voice and strategy.
Responsibilities
  • Bring our brand to life through storytelling, capturing our essence and values. Research, produce, and publish original written content for internal and external communications including, but not limited to website, newsletters, blog posts, email marketing, social media channels and marketing collateral.
  • Lead entire process of proposal response with emphasis on writing, editing, and creating differentiated content and technical narratives. This includes pulling standard boilerplate write-ups, proof-reading, writing, editing, layout, design, production, binding, assembling, and delivery.
  • Develop content for and submit external awards.
  • Provide support to PR agency and any internal communications strategies, including company intranet page and company events.
  • Assist with market research, including monitoring and researching opportunities.
  • Update and maintain database, which includes opportunities, resumes, external contact records, project records, boilerplate narratives and knowledge database.
  • Create photo and video content of people, projects and practices, as well as support coordination with contracted videographer. Will require project site visits when applicable.
  • Manage social media channels content efforts.
Qualifications
  • Degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, or related discipline. 5+ years of marketing or communications experience. A/E/C industry experience is a plus.
  • Excellent writer, detail-oriented, and extremely organized with proven ability to establish priorities and achieve results.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator) and WordPress
  • Excellent computer and word processing skills required, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills; team-oriented and collaborative with a client-service focus.
  • Experience with RFQ/RFP preparation and maintaining a CRM system.
  • Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen.

Travel Requirements
