Job Description:
MUST HAVE: Instrumentation & Electrical Designer, Aveva 3D, AutoCAD Drafting,  Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical
Essential Responsibilities

  • Instrumentation & Electrical Designer with experience of AutoCAD 2D Design, InTools and SPI  in compliance with API Standards codes and NFPA standards in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Chemicals & other associated industries.
  • Instrumentation and Electrical Designer experienced 2D drafting, SPI and InTools experience
  • Knowledge of Field Instrumentation, Loop Drawings, Instrumenation Layout drawings, Hook-up Drawings, JB Drawings and Control room FTA is highly desirable.
  • Experience in Electrical design specially in low voltage (below 480V) is preferred. Experience in developing Area Classification drawing, One line diagram, Earthing/ Grounding Layout, Power drawings layout
  • Responsible for working directly with site operations, technicians, and project teams to develop scope of work for LTTS
  • Communicate with site project engineer, site document controller, operations and LTTS team for project requirements
  • Develop detailed design drawings  for I&E deliverables using AutoCAD.
  • Interface with LTTS design team in India to coordinate about for project scope dicsussions and Design Review discussions
  • Work with vendors for any vendor specific items and update the relevant I/E drawings.
  • Quality Review and Validation of final deliverables before submission to client.
  • Ensure site safety and health protocols are followed
  • Interface and coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines to meet project design requirements and effectively manage the internal flow of data and design changes.
 
Minimum proficiencies and qualifications:
 
  • Strong working knowledge of Electrical and Instrumentation design codes including NFPA,  API standards.
  • Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Aveva 3D software.
  • EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) / EPCm experience is preferred
