**MUST HAVE HOSPITAL EXPERIENCE**
Drivers License REQUIRED at time of submittal
***** auto deducts the 1.75 WA state tax - you are able re-add that back in.**
# of beds Unit size varies. Range of 17-41 beds.
CNA: Patient Ratios 1:8-10
Required Certifications BLS. Will need to have WA license.
Common diagnoses/Types of patients Sitter - floating to any floor. If utilized as CNA, duties and patient population will vary by floor. Refer to RN unit notes.
Experience or 'Must have' skills Minimum 1 year. Flexibility. Good attitude. Must be willing to float
Job Duties: i.e. Blood Sugars, Insertion of Straight Catheter, EKGs, Insertion or Removal of IV's? Sitter Utilization, first. Then CNA. Probably 50/50. Vital signs, Feeding, Ambulation, Turning/Positioning, Hourly Rounding. No catheter/IV insertion or removal.
Is there a Charge Nurse/House Supervisor on each shift? Charge Nurse without an assignment. Some units have Resource Nurses without assignment. House Supervisor is 24/7, except for CAH.
Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) 36hrs/wk - 3-12s. 7-7. Submit RTO during interview. Schedule will be created around RTO. Block scheduling allowed. OT is available
Weekend Requirements Every other weekend
Holiday Requirements Will fill in where there is a need.
Is there a call or standby requirement? Based per contract.
Floating Requirements Will primarily work in the hospital they are assigned to. If not needed at primary hospital, will then float to other hospitals in Region.
Scrub Color/Dress Code Any color. Must look professional.
Unit/Department specific orientation 1 week (3-12s) including EPIC orientation and Modules. Will get orientation in each hospital.
Additional Notes Need to be flexible and have a good attitude. This is a new venture for the system. Could be bumpy in the beginning.
