American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Interventional Radiology position at a Level I facility, requiring at least 2 years of IR experience, prior travel experience, and a KY or compact RN license.
Job Details
• Interventional Radiology unit within an academic, Level I hospital setting,
• Patient population spans neonates through geriatric patients in a procedure setting,
• Neuro IR procedures are a core component of this role,
• Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM, with on-call required,
• Candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position,
Job Requirements
• Active KY or compact RN license required at time of consideration,
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS),
• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology (IR) experience required,
• Minimum 1 year of Neuro experience required, or Neuro exposure in a general ICU setting,
• Neuro IR procedure experience specifically required,
• Prior travel nursing experience required,
• Level I trauma experience preferred,
• 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years required for consideration,
• Clean licensure history required - any licensure hits will result in disqualification,
• Comfortable and skilled in caring for patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatric,
Additional Information
• Perform Neuro IR and general interventional radiology procedures across a broad patient age range,
• Former permanent staff of this facility must have been separated for at least 6 months before being eligible to return as a traveler,
