Job Opportunity: Locum - Interventional Radiologist in Lansing, MI

Join a dynamic team at a leading hospital in Lansing, Michigan, where we are seeking a full-time, Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist to enhance our 3-physician and 2-APP IR team. The hospital provides comprehensive hospital-based IR services, and you will enjoy a day-shift schedule complemented by Q3 call coverage. Ideal candidates may also include those willing to travel for 3+ weeks of coverage each month. Come be part of a facility known for its commitment to high-quality patient care!

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform interventional procedures, including angioplasty and stent placement.
  • Conduct embolization and needle biopsy procedures.
  • Provide thrombolysis treatments and perform uterine fibroid embolization (UFE).
  • Assist with orthopedic, gynecological, and urological cases as needed.
  • Participate in the Q3 call rotation, covering every third weekday and weekend.
  • Collaborate closely with a supportive team of managers and APPs.
Qualifications:
  • Board Certified in Interventional Radiology (REQUIRED)
  • Active Michigan State Medical License (REQUIRED)
  • BLS and ACLS Certifications (REQUIRED)
  • Clean malpractice and license history (HIGHLY PREFERRED)
  • Local providers preferred; travel providers considered for 2+ weeks of coverage monthly.
License and Certification Requirements:
  • Board Certified in Interventional Radiology
  • Active Michigan Medical License (non-compact)
  • Current BLS and ACLS Certifications
