Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring an active MA license and at least 2 years of IR experience.

Details
  • Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a hospital setting
  • 10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week, scheduled 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
  • 13-week assignment
  • Some weekend coverage required for stress testing
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • No floating required
Requirements
  • Active MA RN license required
  • Current AHA BLS certification required
  • Current AHA ACLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of IR experience required
  • Must pass Telemetry Competency Exam
  • Must pass ECG/Telemetry and Medications tests during onboarding with only one attempt allowed to achieve 85% passing score
  • Documented professional development activities required
  • Knowledge of critical paths required
  • Charge nurse experience preferred
Additional Information
  • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered, as local candidates are not accepted
  • Previous Beth Israel Lahey Health employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility before returning
  • Required vaccinations include COVID (with booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
  • Orientation occurs biweekly
  • Weekend and holiday coverage expected
  • RTO requests must be submitted at time of application
  • Interview conducted by the hiring manager (Nurse Manager)
