Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist with 3-5 years of experience for a rural, high-acuity lab performing both cardiac and interventional radiology procedures.
Details
- Work in a 2-room Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology unit with Neuro cases
- Level 3 Trauma, Level 1 Cardiac, and Level 2 Stroke designated facility
- 1:1 patient ratios
- Common procedures include cardiac diagnostics, STEMI, device implants, angiograms, runoffs, stroke treatment, cerebral procedures, AAA, and TCAR
- Uses Philips Xper equipment and Meditech EHR
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Every other weekend required
- On-call/call-back only on weekends, with 10 call shifts per month
- No floating required
Requirements
- 3-5 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
- ARRT or RCIS certification required for Cath Tech role
- License required if applicable
- Interventional Radiology experience with Neuro and Stroke preferred
- Must be able to work independently in a high-acuity rural lab with minimal onboarding
- Prior travel assignment experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
Additional Information
- Facility is a heavy IR lab providing stroke treatment services
- Recognized as a Platinum Award Chest Pain Center by the American College of Cardiology
- Hospital-issued scrubs only; no personal attire permitted
- Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months will not be considered
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
