Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Interventional Radiology position at a Level I Trauma Center, requiring a minimum of 2 years of IR experience and an active TN or compact RN license.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting at a Level I Trauma Center
- Interventional Radiology unit
- Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts (8:00–16:30)
- On-call required, with approximately 6–8 call days per 4-week schedule, including one weekend call shift (Friday–Sunday) every 4 weeks
- Weekend rotation required
- Floating between like units and campuses within 20 miles may occur on a rare basis
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active RN license in Tennessee or a valid Compact (NLC) license — no pending licensure accepted
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology RN experience required; 3+ years preferred
- ADN or higher nursing education accepted for this position
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
- Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are not accepted; at least one completed prior travel assignment is required (candidates with 3+ years of recent experience may be considered)
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront — RTO will not be approved if not listed at the time of initial consideration
- If any certifications are set to expire during the assignment, a renewal plan should be provided
- Holiday coverage: if Thanksgiving, Christmas, and/or New Year's fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work at least 1–2 of those holidays
- Former permanent employees or internal associate travelers must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible to return as a traveler
- Vaccination status documentation required
