Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT advanced certification and recent Neuro/Stroke experience for a 13-week travel assignment.

Details
  • Interventional Radiology unit at an acute care hospital
  • Procedures include neuro/stroke interventions, biopsies, and contrast studies
  • Uses Siemens equipment and PACS system
  • 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM with one weekday off per week
  • Two nights of call per week (5:30 PM–7:00 AM) and one weekend of call per month (Friday 5:30 PM–Monday 7:00 AM)
  • Call-back response time is 30 minutes
  • Floating to other hospital departments within skill set is required when census is low
Requirements
  • Current BLS (AHA) required
  • ARRT (R) with advanced certification in Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI), Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV), or Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) required
  • Recent Neuro/Stroke interventional experience required
  • Proficiency with PACS, contrast administration, and biopsy procedures
  • Experience with Siemens imaging equipment
  • License required if applicable
Additional Information
  • Orientation is conducted on a bi-weekly schedule
  • RTO will not be accommodated during holidays or holiday weeks; travelers may discuss holiday RTO directly with the manager after arriving onsite using the RTO form
