Job Summary and Qualifications

The Interventional Radiology RN Clinical Supervisor has responsibility for the day-to-day activities in IR. She/He works closely with the Manager of Imaging Services, IR coordinator, staff and physicians to provide optimal care in a changing health care environment. Position reports to the Director of Imaging Services. Acts with minimal supervision in a professional capability. Performs and demonstrates proficiency in providing quality patient care during the peri-procedure stay including assessment of safety, comfort, physiological and psychological needs. Works closely with Radiologists, technologist staff, ancillary departments and physicians as care is planned and coordinated. Work is primarily performed at ORMC within the Medical Imaging Department. Service is provided in all imaging modalities. Occasional travel may also be required in order to attend educational meetings /lectures for the betterment of the employee.โ€‹ 

What qualifications you will need:

  • Registered Nurse
  • Associate's degree required. BSN preferred.
  • 2 years RN experience
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support - American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Red Cross or American Heart Association
